Each year, WRSEF sponsors an Artistic Design Contest, with the winning entries featured at the WRSEF Regional Fair in March.
Below are the contest guidelines and procedures.
Any student in grades seven through twelve whose school is in the WRSEF Region is eligible to take part in the Artistic Design Contest.
Students do not need to compete in local, regional, or state science fairs with a project to be eligible.
Entries must be submitted no later than February 1st, 2025, 11:59pm.
For the drawing, use black ink (no color or pencil) and an 8.5”x11” sheet of white paper ( or a digital image) for each entry. Designs must be dark enough to copy easily. A simple design is best and reflects the mission of WRSEF and STEM Education.
The original design must be original and cannot be a computerized design.
Include the words “Worcester Regional Science and Engineering Fair.” This should be large enough to be seen on your original drawing (design), as well as the year “2024 - 2025.” The words and year should be large enough to be clearly seen and read easily. The words and year can be any size and located anywhere within the design.
Keep the design simple. One design will be chosen for a T-shirt, and another will be chosen for the STEM Fair Program cover.
Please include the following on the BACK of your entry:
